Scientific rank: Senior research associate at the Institute for Adriatic Crops from 2019
Scientific and Professional Interests:
The subjects of my scientific and professional interest are primarily plant microbiology and genetics, so my experiences are related to these research areas. From an assistant to a senior research associate at the Institute for Adriatic Crops, I continuously research plant pathogens, mostly citrus and grapevine viruses. I am also involved in researches related to the beneficial symbiotic microorganisms of plants such as arbuscular-mycorrhizal fungi. My favorite research interest is the one related to the interactions of microorganisms with host plants, which makes me involved in different aspects of scientifc investigation. I have experience in genetic identification of microorganisms as well as their genetic characterization, plant physiology and biochemistry, soil microbiology what are often the main topics of papers and projects in which I participate as a lead author or collaborator.
